FREE FOR STUDENTS
What a sad day. In the audience was me, the chair of the music department at Concordia university, two or three strangers & a small hand full of classical music students who arrived halfway through the performance. What a goddamn shame this was. Roberto was so virtuosic, he was such a demon musician, i had to do everything in my power to refrain from yelling OH!’s, YEAH!’s & OHSHIT!’s while he was playing, like we do in jazz clubs. I didn’t because you just don’t do that at a solo piano concert. After each piece I WOOOED like a yung belieber. Mr. Turrin is from a small town north of italy, 20 mins drive from my nonna's small town, fanna, north of italy. amazing.
